     A contribution by the tutors of the chemistry department to enhance the scientific journey by particular researches in safety and security aspects where the Prof. Dr. Emad Al-seraj the head of the chemistry department along with a number of tutors from chemistry department mentioning:

-         Assist. Prof. Dr. Nisreen Raheem Jbr

-         Assist. Prof. Abass Hadi

-         Assist. Prof. Wedad Hamed Shaband

     All participated in the second national Coordinating conference of chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear safety and security where held in Babel University at the Nahrain center for strategy studies on 16^th – 18^th April 2017, all the mentioned researches focused on various direction practices in educational, practical aspects and logistics capacity building for different Chemistry department facilities applied for postgraduate and primary Labs within the academic year 2016, whereas the other mentioned researches to improve security and safety at work as well as research.

     Yet mentioning; that work also included a research job about accidents suffered by the country in 2003 and in 2016 by sulfur fires at Meshraq, and the environmental impact on humans, animals and plants, soil and water with clarification and analysis.The research Conference participation with a scientific dialogue brought to a big impact which added to enrich the scientific sessions of the Conferenceto bring a high level name to the collage and University.
