Graduator of the department represents a scientifically educational pioneer which falls in the service of our dear country.

 

Department's message

Prepare specialized cadre in biotechnical fields with full providing new information in various areas of modern life with the technology of vital plant to take full advantage of plant products ,farming, engineered genetic organisms, research for location modification, bio-medical technologies, production of pharmaceutical compounds, and environmental remediation to get rid of air pollutants, soil and water and to Invest accurate organisms by the extraction of vital valuable materials.

Department's target:

1. Qualify graduated students to work in state institutions and in private sectors, particularly in medical, agricultural and industrial fields.
2. Opening to the community and develop cadres of governmental organization throughout courses and seminars that includes diversified scientific specializations within the department, which informs cadres of the beneficiary side by modern cognitive aspects so as to contribute in the implementation of development plans.
3. To graduate specialized cadres of postgraduate students to supply Iraqi universities inside and outside of Iraq and ministries of country with specialists familiar with wide range of latest scientific developments in the fields of bio-technology.
