Vision of the Department of Medical Physics:
The department seeks to qualify cadres specialized in medical physics to provide supportive services in the field of medical diagnosis and treatment with high efficiency, as well as qualified to work in the fields of scientific research so that they are able to serve the community and science in the fields of medical physics because of its great link with other sciences, whether in the natural and industrial fields and advanced research.
Department Objectives
Providing all the necessary student of an appropriate educational environment and sober theoretical and practical scientific curricula that keep pace with scientific and technological developments in the fields of laboratory and medical devices to suit the needs of the labor market.
Mission:
The mission of the department is to qualify students practically and scientifically through an intensive scientific approach of teaching and learning methods and preparing the student in an academic manner that suits the necessities of scientific development.
The Department of Medical Physics works to promote some axes that are essential in increasing the efficiency of the educational process, including:
Providing a good educational environment for students to raise their scientific and intellectual level, develop their skills, increase their ability to work and deal with different circumstances.
Motivating students to scientific research through the participation of teachers and students in conducting scientific and applied research to contribute to the development of the local community.
Strengthening relations in the various state departments, especially those benefiting from their competencies by providing applied research as well as holding seminars and scientific lectures inside and outside the department.
