The Department
The Department of Applied Pathological Analysis at Nahrain University –was established in 2023. It offers a four-year B.Sc. in Applied Pathological Analysis. This department aspires to produce scientists are able to improve human health and they are responsible for better understanding, diagnosing, treating and preventing human diseases. They not only study the human body and gain knowledge of how it works, but are responsible for finding new ways to cure or treat diseases.
Vision
The Pathological Analysis Department contributes to improving human health through basic and translational research. It also contributes to supplying the Iraqi labor market with cadres with scientific specifications and modern technical standards and preparing these cadres to work in various health and research institutions, as well as supporting the private sector.
Mission
The mission of the Department of Biomedical Science is to prepare our graduates in flexible mode across a broad spectrum of bioscience fields, for careers as researchers, educators, and healthcare professionals through innovative training and research. Biomedical graduates will be able to meet the needs of the community in health systems and sharing scientific breakthroughs that protect you, your families and our community from the threat of diseases. The graduates will not only be providers and leaders, but they will also dedicated to the promotion, development and delivery of excellence in all aspects of biomedical science and will provide the highest levels of service to patients and the public.
