The Third Annual Extracurricular Student Activities Festival for College of Science

Under the auspices of Al-Nahrain University's President, Professor Dr. Ali Abdel Aziz Al-Shawi, and supervised by the Deanship of the College of Science, the third annual extracurricular student activities festival for College of Science students took place over two days in the Great Conference Hall. The festival commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran and the national anthem, followed by a speech from the esteemed Dean of the College of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Asmaa Hadi Muhammad, who congratulated all participants on the festival's launch and the efforts invested in its success.
The festival featured a diverse array of activities including competitions in photography, video editing, general knowledge, singing, storytelling, and sports such as chess and table tennis. As well as physical competition among the departments teams, involving relay races and ball collecting, racing with tied legs. Live scientific demonstrations, and a lecture on artificial intelligence was also presented by students.
On the closing day, winners were celebrated and awarded valuable prizes sponsored by the festival's sponsors. Additionally, a bazaar showcased handicrafts crafted by students and staff of the college.
This annual event organized by the College of Science aims to showcase the literary, artistic, and athletic talents of its students while fostering stronger bonds between students and faculty.
