Under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Science, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications and coordination with the Iraqi Women's League, held an introductory workshop on the concept of disasters and response to them (human disasters, risks of human crowd management, chemical and biological risks). Delivered by Dr. Abhai Ali. The workshop provided a definition of disasters, their types, how to respond to each type and how to avoid them to create a safe society.
