The students of the Computer Science Department visited the National Data Center at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
The Computer Science Department at the College of Science, Al-Nahrain University, organized a field visit to the National Data Center at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, aiming to familiarize students with the latest technologies in the field of information technology and enhance their qualifications for the job market. Fourth-year students participated in the visit, supervised by several faculty members of the department, where they learned about the operational mechanisms of the "Aour Gateway" electronic platform for government services, and were informed about data management and protection methods, in addition to monitoring digital government services and their importance in facilitating procedures for citizens and official departments.The visit also included discussions on the platform's role in enhancing digital security and reducing the exploitation of citizens by unofficial entities, through raising awareness of the importance of using approved government channels in managing electronic services.
