The Robotics Exhibition at the Department of Computer Science reflects the development of programming curricula and keeping pace with artificial intelligence Within the framework of developing the programming curriculum and enhancing programming thinking skills, the Department of Computer Science at the College of Science organized a distinguished scientific exhibition for first-stage students' projects in the field of robotics. The exhibition came within the framework of the Student Festival for Scientific Activities, where students presented innovative models of various robots, including sumo robots, security robots, delivery robots, football robots, and line tracking robots. These projects represent a major step towards students' understanding of advanced programming concepts, as they demonstrated their ability to arrange and implement innovative software solutions that reflect a tangible development in their programming skills. Robot programming was an effective teaching tool that combined illustration and fun, enhancing their logical and innovative thinking. The exhibition also witnessed a field visit from a group of teachers and students of the University of Technology - Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications, who expressed their great admiration for the advanced scientific level of the presented projects, which reflects the efforts made in enhancing students' logical and programmatic thinking. The visitors stressed that these projects represent a qualitative leap in the development of programming curricula in Iraqi universities. This initiative is part of the department's continuous efforts to keep pace with the rapid developments in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence, and to prepare students for the labor market that requires them to innovate and create in technical fields.
