  • A teacher from the College of Science delivers research at an international conference
      Assistant Lecturer (Asil Bassem Sabry), teaching in the Department of Computer Science at the College of Science, participated in research in the Tenth International Scientific Conference for Strategic Research and Multiple Sciences, which was recently held in Türkiye.
     
     
    • Participation of the Dean of the College of Science in the first day of the Fourth International Conference on Engineering and Science
    Participation of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Asmaa Hadi Muhammad, in the first day of the Fourth International Conference on Engineering and Science, which was held by Al-Nahrain University in partnership with the University of Bermankaham and the Assyria and Al-Isra Universities, which was held in Al-Nahrain University.
     
     
    • Community Police holds an awareness and educational seminar on drugs and psychotropic substances
      Under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Science, the Department of Pathological Analysis organized an awareness and educational symposium on drugs and psychotropic substances, and it was presented by members of the Karrada and Al-Bayaa Detachment of the Community Police Department.
     
     
    • Sustainable development axes of the Times classification
          Within the requirements of the Times Sustainable Development Classification, the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division held a workshop entitled (Axes of Sustainable Development
          According to the Times classification) delivered by: L. Orouba Nazem Harbi,Assistant Professor Dr.. Jazeel Hussein
     
     
    • Two teaching participation in the Third Scientific Conference on Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence Applications in Erbil
      A.M.D. participated. Suhad Abdul Rahman Youssef and L. Taiba Zaki Abdel Hamid presented an important research paper at the Third Scientific Conference on Mathematics and Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology
     
     
    • Smoking control in the Department of Medical Physics
    The College of Science/Department of Medical Physics organized an awareness symposium under the title (Anti-smoking). The symposium included several topics, the most important of which are the history of smoking, the materials used in its manufacture, the motives and harms of smoking, and methods of combating smoking.
     
     
    • Alumni Forum Conference 2024
    Under the patronage of the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. The Honorable Ali Abdel Aziz Al-Shawi, and under the supervision of the Deanship of the College of Science, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit in the College of Science held the 2024 Graduate Forum Conference. Which opened with the recitation of a verse from the Holy Quran, then reciting Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. This was followed by an opening speech by the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Asmaa Hadi urged the students to learn, strive and persevere to seize opportunities and make efforts to open the horizons of a bright future for themselves and the country.
     
     
  • Seminar on first aid
    Sponsored by the College of Science, the Department of Medical Physics held a symposium on first aid, delivered by M.M. Saif Mohsen Nasrallah 
     It explained the types of first aid for wounds and burns, mentioning their types and definitions, indicating their risks, and how to deal with each type.
 
  • A seminar in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications
    Among the scientific activities of the College of Science, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications held a seminar entitled Two New Classes Exponential Rayleigh and Modified Weighted Exponential Rayleigh Distributions with Statistical Properties, delivered by the department’s teaching staff (Dr. Lamia Khaled Hussein).

 

  • A seminar on diabetes in the Chemistry Department

The Third Annual Extracurricular Student Activities Festival for College of Science
Under the auspices of Al-Nahrain University's President, Professor Dr. Ali Abdel Aziz Al-Shawi, and supervised by the Deanship of the College of Science, the third annual extracurricular student activities festival for College of Science students took place over two days in the Great Conference Hall.
 
  • A panel discussion entitled 
    GRP materials and their applications in construction
    ​The panel discussion included a discussion of polymeric materials reinforced with fiberglass and their uses in modern construction works, as they have qualities similar to or perhaps better than some of the metals used in construction, in addition to being lightweight, lower cost, and easy to manufacture.

 

  • A seminar on the culture of occupational health and safety and production quality control
